The “crafters” at Twin Rivers had a lesson in watercolor for making our April raindrops! Each one had their paint, water, brush & practice paper to learn some watercolor techniques before starting in on the raindrops. Not only was it a fun learning experience, our raindrops turned out just beautiful – each one unique! We even had a rainy day to do the project! Placed in the dining room with the giant umbrellas we decorated, it looks like a whimsical April showers day! Today, as it rains & pours outside, we will decorate rain boots to complete the April scene in the dining room! I am so proud of our “crafters” at Twin Rivers & the effort they put into our projects! Our crafts bring a personal touch to our dining room that all the residents enjoy!

Potatoe Necklace Craft

The ladies had a ball making these potato necklaces. They peeled and cut up potatoes, let them dry for a couple days, painted them and then strung them with other beads. They all turned out so nice.
